 **** I M P O R T A N T ****

 It will be mandatory for everyone to follow COVID-19 related social distancing and safety guidelines published by our city, county and state as well as HSNC.

We have many entries for TT Singles - Male

Players will be split into two Groups

Each player will get min 2 matches to play. Stage-1 followed by Single Elimination.

Stage-1: One Round using random pair-ups between players within group. Top-2 Players from each Group advance.

Stage-2: Single Elimination within group. Winners advance.

Players will compete within each group, and Group-Finalists Qualify for SF (A1 vs B2 & B1 vs A2).

SF Winners play Grand FINALE !!!

Rules for Table-Tennis

Each match will be played with below rules

Scoring and Games

  1. Games are played to 11 points
  2. Players serve two serves each, alternating.
  3. If a game ties at 10-10, a player must win by 2 points.
    In this situation, players serve one serve each, alternating
  4. Best of 3 (first to win 2 games)


Miscellaneous Rules

  1. To serve, you must throw the ball up straight, from a flat palm, at least 6 inches (16cm)
  2. Your toss and service contact must be behind the table surface (not over)
  3. You cannot hide the ball from the ball toss to contact, with any part of your body
  4. If the ball hits the net during service, it is a let, the point is replayed. There is no limit or point deductions for let serves.
  5. If the ball hits opposite side's horizontal edge of the table, it's valid play.


Rules for Carrom

Each match will be played with below rules

Scoring and Games

  1. Best of 4 Boards or 25 Points - whichever occurs first, player(s) with higher points wins the game
  2. Queen (or Red) can be pocketed any time, but, must be followed by pocketing your own coin
  3. Once the Queen is covered, whoever clears their coins first wins the 'board'
  4. Winner gets 3 Points for Queen (only if you pocketed), and 1 Point for each opponent's coin left on the board
  5. Points for Queen CANNOT be counted after your score reaches 22-points


Miscellaneous Rules

  1. Disco/Dancing Carrom Powder NOT ALLOWED
  2. Moving your chair after the board is broken is NOT ALLOWED. However, you can adjust your seating without moving your chair at any time
  3. While playing your turn, you CANNOT stand, and/or take support of another chair/table/etc.
  4. While making a stroke, the elbow of the playing ‘hand’ shall not come within the playing surface nor shall extend beyond the imaginary lines of the arrow.
  5. Striker should be standard size, must not be bigger than pocket size
  6. Players break the board in alternating turn, starting with the player who wins toss
  7. Player who breaks the board plays white
  8. Sinking the striker costs you one coin and your turn. But, if you sink a coin in the same shot, then two come up and you shoot again.
  9. After sinking the striker, your opponent places the due coin(s) within the center circle. If you haven't sunk one yet, you owe one.
  10. If while shooting for the queen you also sink one of your coins, the queen is automatically covered, no matter which went first.
  11. If a coin jumps off the board, it is placed on the center spot. If coin lands on edge or are overlapping, they are left that way.
  12. If the center spot is partially covered when replacing the queen or a jumped coin, the coin should cover as much red as possible. If totally covered, the coin is placed opposite the next player behind the red spot.
  13. If you sink your opponent's coin, you lose your turn. If you sink their last coin, you lose the board and three points.
  14. If you sink your last piece before the queen, you lose the board, three points and one point for each of your opponent's coins left.
  15. If the striker does not leave both lines, go again. You get three tries to break before losing your turn
