Welcome to the 2022 Season of Friendship Cup Tennis Tournaments.

This year, we will start with our Singles Tournament, followed by Doubles and Team-Tennis tournaments. 

We welcome all level of players, beginners to advanced. This year we are planning to have separate divisions for 3.0, 3,5, 4.0+. We can also have a separate division for 4.5+ if we get enough participants.

Based on the number of entries, we will divide participants into groups.

Top 2 players from each group will qualify for Playoffs.

Tournament Format, for each division, will be

• Stage-1 : Round-Robin within each group, followed by
• Stage-2 : Playoffs - Single Elimination format... leading to Championship Final.

Start Date & Schedule :

Stage-1 (Round-Robin) to begin from Saturday May-7th. All players are required to complete 1-2 Matches per week (i.e. between Saturday and Friday). Round-Robin Schedules for each division, are posted on this website, Please check it out!

Stage-2 (Playoffs / Single-Elimination) to begin from Saturday Jun-11th. All players are required to complete 2 Matches per week (i.e. between Saturday and Friday), so that we can finish in time for July-4th vacations. Playoffs Schedules will be posted as we are closer to the end of Stage-1.

Match Format - All Matches will be played as below

• All Matches will be Home v/s Visitor - each pair will have equal opportunity
• Home Player to bring Match Balls & gets to choose venue (If the venue is a paid facility, like CTP, every player will be responsible for their court fees)
• Best of 3 Sets
• Regular Ad-Scoring
  
• Regular 7-point Set Tie-Breaker, at 6-6 set score
  
• 3rd set will be played as a 10-point Match Tie-Breaker, in Coman format
